What education or training is this pathway designed for?

Not a study permit: it is a work permit route for participants in a company's graduate training or intern exchange programme who opt to work in the company's Bermuda office. Advertising is not required and the employer submits a completed Short Term Work Permit application.

The employer must show a reciprocal exchange: proof that a qualified Bermudian, Spouse of a Bermudian, Belonger, Spouse of a Belonger or PRC holder is being trained outside Bermuda as a graduate trainee or intern, and the Department issues the permit only if the programme clearly benefits Bermudians, Spouses of Bermudians or PRC holders. Participants are not expected to take the position of a qualified Bermudian.
