Extension requires a recommendation letter from the concerned organisation and a work permit from the NGO Affairs Bureau. Spouses, children, adopted children and dependent family members of the principal holder may accompany under the FN1 category, whose visa is coterminous with the principal holder; employment in Bangladesh is prohibited for them, and breach may lead to cancellation of the visa.
